You may often need to replace the LCD screen of your phone

When repairing the mobile phone, you need to desolder and remove the LCD display or PDA/smartphone of the mobile phone and replace it with a new LCD display or PDA again.

There are two types of mobile phone LCD screens:

Connector type

Solder to the mobile phone PCB.

It is very easy to replace the connector type LCD display. Just disassemble the phone and remove the connector. Replace the faulty screen connected to the PCB by plugging in a new screen.

Tools needed to replace the LCD display

1. Liquid flux.
2. iron
3. Desoldering the wire.
4. Solder wire.
5. tweezers.
6. Precision screwdriver.
7. Phone opener.

How to desolder and remove the mobile phone display

1. Use a precision screwdriver and a phone opening tool to disassemble the phone.
2. You will see the display soldered on the PCB of the phone.
3. Apply flux to the solder joints.
4. Use a soldering iron to heat all solder joints. Be careful when using the soldering iron.
5. When the solder starts to melt, use tweezers or hands to gently pull out the display.
6. Use a desoldering wire and a soldering iron to remove all excess solder paste on the PCB Track.
